AWARDS

Description of Awards

The FBT Awards of Excellence are presented by FBT to recognize those best exemplifying dedication, commitment, and influence toward preserving, restoring, and building the original Boone Trace.

Recipients represent the following attributes:

Dedicated to current and long-term service in the field of preservation, restoration and economic development of the Boone Trace and the 5-county area (e.g., developed research, innovations, publications, programs, legislation, etc.)
Creating a work environment that incorporates both preservation of historic places and sustainability (e.g., volunteerism by employees, use of recycled and environmentally friendly products, collaboration and/or funding of FBT initiatives)
Outstanding action, contribution, and leadership in supporting FBT events, programs, or advocacy

Recipients are recognized annually during the November meeting of FBT. Awards are given in the following categories:
