ALL COUNTIES
1) Signage for Boone Trace, Wilderness Rd, Lewis & Clark Trail based on HR39 and SR 135 (House and
Senate Resolutions)
2) Merge BT bicycle route with USBR 21 National Bike Route
3) Promote BT as health initiative of trails (Bike-Ped/ BT“Health Walks”)
4) Begin to prepare for 250th anniversary of the opening of BT in 1775 which will occur in 2025
5) Encourage all cities not currently Trail Towns nor in Main Street Program to become such.
6) Link Trail Towns, Tourism Offices/Museums and/or Main Street Programs for all cities (except Flat Lick)
7) Create hiking club to maintain overland trails
8) Utilize social media (especially FB) and promote education more
9) Pursue Boone Trace Scenic Byway status

1) Develop hiking trail along east side of Yellow Creek to Meldrum
2) Develop Ball Cemetery and associated BT/WR
