Bicycle Route (National Bicycle Route 21)

This map is part of a National Bicycle Route being developed by us in collaboration with the Adventure Cycling Association and the state Bicycle and Pedestrian Program Coordinator in Frankfort. It will be called US Bike Route 21 (USBR 21) and will connect Atlanta, GA to Cleveland, OH. When the cyclists get to KY, they will connect in at Middlesboro and follow our Boone Trace bike route to Boonesborough, then depart from Boone Trace, cross the KY River and exit KY at Maysville. The bike route is entirely paved and is a modification of the Auto Tour route with certain segments altered specifically to make it safer and more pleasurable for bicyclists.
