Boone Trace on a Motorcycle
The following articles were written for the newsletter of the local Harley-Davidson motorcycle club of Lexington, Kentucky (Man-O-War HOG) describing trips down Boone Trace, best done as an "upper half" or "lower half" in one day and the other on another day, or as a two-day trip. The mid-point is the Levi Jackson State Park where The Trace clips the northwest corner of the park. The articles will give descriptions of each half of the ride whether traveling north or south as separate articles. Other articles will describe actual trips we have taken. Hopefully, they will give the reader an idea of what it's like to experience this remarkable little road and points of interest along the way.
